Where are you located?
Elder Moving is located in Courtenay, BC. We help people in their homes on Vancouver Island, & the Sunshine Coast. If you are moving to, or from Vancouver Island we would be pleased to support you. We are happy to travel to support you, if you are outside of our area give us a call.
My loved one just passed away, can you help?
Yes, we offer Estate Closure Management based on individual needs. We will take care of all the details during this stressful time. Sorting, distributing, junk removal, cleaning, based on your needs.
Who will help with all my stuff?
Our kind and caring staff will support you each step of the way. With your help we will sort your items into categories: •keep •give to family/friends •sell •donate. We will arrange content sales, donations, & removal and be there to support you every step of the way. Moving services & senior help in the Comox Valley.
I want to stay where I am, can you help me?
We would love to support you with de-cluttering/downsizing to give you more space, and a fresh feeling in your home. We will discuss your changing needs and come up with a plan that feels good for you. We provide moving services & estate sales in the Comox Valley.
Who does the packing & unpacking?
Once we know what is being moved, we will carefully pack your belongings. On moving day we oversee the movers to ensure your items are handled with care, and guide the placement of the furniture. We will unpack, recycle moving materials, and organize your new home. We will make your bed, set your clocks, and can even hang photos. Our aim is to have your new place set up & feeling like home on the first night.
I want to sell my home, can you help ?
Yes, we have a list of trusted local Realtors we can recommend based on your needs. We will arrange for cleaning, repairs, and staging so your home is ready to sell. We can help with tight timelines, as well as long-term plans, we can even act on your behalf for inspections, & coordinate access & logistics if you are away or unable to be there in person.
Im concerned about my pet during my move.
We love our furry friends. We can help with your anxiety around your move, as well as your pet's. We are happy to factor your pet's wellbeing into your moving plans, tell us the details and we will find a happy solution for everyone.
